In 1992, a group of concerned individuals assembled a task force to investigate the unique needs of the rapidly growing Latino population in San Luis Obispo County. This effort led to the establishment of the Latino Outreach Council in 1994.
Identify and facilitate the removal of barriers that inhibit Latinos' achievement of their goals and to develop strategies to optimize the delivery of the needed services and resources.
At the Latino Outreach Council, we strive to empower the Latino community through education and advocacy. Our mission is to ensure that every voice is heard and every need is met.
