The Latino Outreach Council is thrilled to kick off the New Year, celebrating 31 years on the central coast! LOC was established in 1994 to serve as a community network, building bridges between resources and the Latino community. We are committed to supporting and offering community programs and events to educate and raise cultural awareness in our county and to enhance opportunities for the Latino/Hispanic community to participate in the affairs of our region.

In 1992, a group of concerned individuals assembled a task force to investigate the unique needs of the rapidly growing Latino population in San Luis Obispo County. This effort led to the establishment of the Latino Outreach Council in 1994.
